Hello World!

Found this on Digg this morning:

http://www.roesler-ac.de/wolfram/hello.htm

It’s a site that has the Hello World program syntax for 366 programming languages including PHP, Javascript, C++, Pascal, BASIC… you name it. Pretty interesting to compare, and also a great resource if you want to get started with basic syntax in a language.

For the non-programmers out there, Hello World is typically the very first program that one learns to write in a new language. You basically get the words Hello World to show up on the screen. Of course, you can use any text you want, but Hello World has a long-standing tradition behind it.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. I’m tackling grading, have finished one set of Web Design projects, moving on to another…will read grad student research papers tomorrow
