TXST Students Continue to Conquer

It is always my great pleasure to announce the successes of students from our program at Texas State. The east coast is gaining more of our own.

This week, Ashley Goode announced that she accepted a position on the marketing team of Gensler, a global architecture firm. She’ll be moving to their NYC office at Rockefeller Center. As long as I have known Ashley, it has been her dream to move to New York, so it is very gratifying to see her making that dream come true.

And this summer, Sara Peralta accepted an internship at NPR in DC and was offered a permanent position as marketing associate. She joins Kiana Fitzgerald at NPR, another of our grads who started working there last year as an intern, receiving a permanent offer this spring. Kiana is a digital editorial assistant and social media manager at NPR.

Sara, Kiana and Ashley have all demonstrated strong persistence in making these career moves come to fruition. I couldn’t be happier for them and am very proud of the accomplishments of all our students and grads. As I have said before, they go out into the world and do amazing things and make us look good. I can’t wait to hear more about their projects and adventures.
